  • What should LHP focus on in the future?

We're exploring what success could look and feel like by 2030, and we'd like to hear what you think. By 2030, what would you like it to be like to live in an LHP home and be an LHP customer?

We're developing LHP's new Corporate Strategy for 2027–2030, our plan for what we want to achieve over the next three years and we want our customers to help shape it.

We've put together a short survey to find out what matters most to you, what you think LHP should focus on and whether there is anything important we've missed.

The survey is open until 30 September, and we'd really value your views.

To take the survey you can use this QR code or visit the link to our form: Help shape LHP’s future – Fill in form

If you need help to complete the survey, or need it in another format, please contact us and we'll help you take part. You can call us: 0345 604 1472.

When answering, we'd like you to look ahead to 2030. This isn't about rating LHP today, it's about what you think we should aim to achieve in the future.

We want to hear what matters to you, including anything you think we have missed. We'll look at what you tell us alongside what we hear from other customers and colleagues to help shape our priorities for 2027–2030.

The survey will not automatically collect personal details such as your name or email address unless you choose to provide them.

    What happens next?

This survey is just the start. In the autumn, we'll share what customers and colleagues have told us and there will be more opportunities for customers to help develop the strategy.

We're also setting up a customer co-design panel for people who would like to be more involved in shaping the Corporate Strategy.

If you'd like to be part of the panel, please email: getinvolved@lincolnshirehp.com

  • Fighting with Pride

Help reach Veterans affected by the Armed Forces LGBTQ+ Ban - Fighting With Pride, the UK’s LGBTQ+ Armed Forces charity, is urging veterans affected by the historic ban on LGBTQ+ personnel serving openly before 2000 to apply for reparations before the 12 December 2026 deadline.

Thousands of service personnel were dismissed, discharged or forced to hide their identity under the ban, often losing careers, pensions and vital support networks.

Following the Government’s acceptance of the LGBT Veterans Independent Review recommendations, eligible veterans may be entitled to up to £70,000 through the financial recognition scheme.

Since launching its Battle for Lost Veterans campaign in June 2026, Fighting With Pride has helped more veterans come forward, but estimates that around 1,000 eligible veterans have yet to apply.

Residents, community groups and veterans' organisations are encouraged to help spread the word and support anyone who may be eligible to access confidential guidance and assistance.

For more information, campaign resources or to request printed leaflets, visit www.fightingwithpride.org.uk or email info@fightingwithpride.org.uk.

Every share could help a veteran receive the recognition, support and compensation they deserve before the scheme closes on 12 December 2026.

  • Energy Bills

Eligible households are reminded they can get £150 off energy bills this winter.

The government is encouraging anyone who may qualify to check that they are named on their electricity bill by 23 August, as suppliers will use customer records from that date to determine eligibility.

In England and Wales, this includes households in receipt of:

    • Housing Benefit

    • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

    • Pension Credit

    • Universal Credit

Having the eligible person named on their electricity bill will help make sure households receive the discount automatically.

Please contact our Home Energy Advice Team on 01507 613189 for any energy related queries.

  • Helping Protect Tenants from Scams and Fraud

Fraud can happen to anyone and accounts for a significant proportion of reported crime, with criminals using phone calls, emails, texts, social media and doorstep approaches to steal money and personal information.

The impact on tenants can be devastating. Victims may lose savings, fall into debt, experience emotional distress and, in some cases, struggle to meet essential household costs such as rent payments.

The Government's Stop! (Visit the link) Think Fraud - How to stay safe from scams campaign encourages everyone to take a moment before sharing personal information, clicking links, making payments, or responding to unexpected requests. Fraudsters often use pressure, urgency, and impersonation tactics to manipulate victims into acting quickly.
