We’ve developed a range of ways to get involved and have your say. We’ve put together several groups which you can join to get involved on issues that matter to you. You can attend local drop-in at sheltered scheme or join your housing officer for a walk around your local area – or any area you like! There is monthly Customer Forum that is held online and quarterly hybrid also in person and various panels and focus groups on specific topic.     This event aims to bring together local agencies that support older people, their carers and families in North East Lincolnshire (NEL) to showcase the valuable services available to older people and others.

  • Community Skip Scheme - Boston

    The Boston Borough Council Community Skip Scheme brings skips to local neighbourhoods so the residents of Boston can safely dispose of bulky household rubbish. This scheme is for the residents of Boston Borough only.

    Skips will be available from 8am until 3pm but may end earlier if all skips fill up.

    Skips location has been decided by the council based on safety and accessibility provisions.

    Residents can get rid of up to 3 large unwanted household items, to use this service we will require our residents to call beforehand on 01205 314200 and let us know what items they will be bringing and on what day.

    The skips are for community use only - trade waste will not be accepted. Asbestos, car tyres, oil drums, paint cans and clinical waste are also not accepted. No commercial waste or vans (marked & unmarked) will be accepted.

    Community Learning Centres | Grimsby Institute

    Our Community Learning Centres in Louth, Grimsby and Immingham flexibly deliver a variety of funded programmes including Maths, English and IT. The Grimsby Institute is delighted to be able to offer support to parents/guardians of home educated learners aged 14 & 15* years.
