    Rosegarth Square – Opening Event – 19th September – 11 am – 7 pm

The transformation of a key gateway to Boston town centre will be marked at a special opening event to be hosted by Boston Borough Council next month. Residents are invited to celebrate a new chapter for the town as work is completed on Rosegarth Square, designed to breathe new life into the area with an event on September 19 welcoming a new, modern and accessible area, designed to enhance Boston Town Centre by creating a new gateway for visitors and residents.

The regeneration of the area has seen Boston Borough Council acquiring and then demolishing the former B&M and the Crown House buildings to make way for redevelopment. The new Square will officially open to the public after major investment from UK Government. This area has been designed to help celebrate the town’s heritage and history while creating an improved space for residents and visitors to use and enjoy.

The official opening event will bring together local residents, businesses, project partners and community stakeholders to mark the completion of the redevelopment. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the new square, learn more about the project's impact and take part in the celebrations.

The regeneration of Rosegarth Square forms part of a wider commitment to creating attractive, sustainable and people-focused public spaces that support economic growth while improving quality of life for local communities. Further details about this free family friendly event and the opening ceremony will be announced in the coming weeks on our social media channels. Further information of the project can be found on our dedicated website - https://rosegarthboston.co.uk You can read the full press release here - https://www.boston.gov.uk/.../Rosegarth-Square-to...
