Grounds Maintenance Inspectors
Our grounds maintenance contractor, are hard at work maintaining our communal green spaces throughout most of the year.
We're looking for Resident Inspectors to become champions of the estate in your area, to help ensure our green spaces are being maintained to our standards.
You'll be our eyes in your neighbourhood, and will help us to monitor grass cutting, hedge trimming and weeds.
Our grounds maintenance service is mostly a 'cut & drop' service, meaning we don't collect grass cuttings.
The benefits for this include providing nutrients for the grass, and retaining moisture to keep the grass looking green and healthy, even when it's very hot & dry.
We'd welcome your feedback on our Grounds Maintenance contract; simply complete the survey below!
Please note that Grass cutting service would typically run from March to October/November depending on the type of Autumn we experience.

FAQs
How often is grass cut?
Grass is cut on a rolling monthly cycle – not fixed dates.
Timing depends on when the area was last cut and weather conditions.
A good indicator has been provided by our contractors, use the QR codes on this page.
Why is grass left behind?
Grass is not collected as part of the service.
This allows us to cover all areas efficiently and keep costs down.
*Note – Some areas do have cuttings collected due to it being written into original tenancy agreements, please report instances of this not happening if you are in one of those areas*
Why are there grass cuttings on paths?
Whilst a best effort is made to contain as much of the grass from finding itself on footpaths, external factors can lead to it happening, this is usually temporary as the wind which blows it onto the grass typically blows it back off again.
Why has my area been missed?
We maintain many sites, and occasional misses can happen.
Report it and it will be arranged to be put right.
Why is some grass left long?
Some areas may be cut less often or left longer to support wildlife.
Why hasn’t my area been maintained yet?
Our contractor works in planned routes and prioritise busy and safety-critical areas first.
Not all areas are done at the same time.
