We're sorry to announce that the East Marsh Fun Day has been postponed. We know this is disappointing news, and we were really looking forward to seeing everyone. But don’t worry – watch this space! We’ll be rebooking the event very soon and can’t wait to bring the fun to East Marsh.
In the meantime, we’re spreading some Easter cheer! 🐰
East Marsh customers – keep an eye out, as LHP is out and about delivering Easter Eggs right to your doorstep! A little treat from us to you, to help you enjoy Easter at home.
A massive thank you to our amazing partners E.ON and Fortum for their generous donation of Easter Eggs.
Hello
It is with great sadness that, due to the weather conditions forecast for tomorrow, we have agreed with our partners to postpone the upcoming event on the East Marsh tomorrow. We are now looking to reschedule it during the next school holidays, with the aim of holding it in the summer months when the weather is expected to be more favourable.
In the meantime, to ensure no child misses out, Jade and the Housing team will be delivering the Easter eggs directly to families in the East Marsh area.
LHP Neighbourhood Team Leaders have been out with Councillor Aisthorpe and Councillor Emmerson delivering leaflets for the family fun event on the East Marsh on Wednesday 16th April. Come and join us for a fun filled eggselent day and possibly win some Easter egs

Come and join the Patch Walkabout on Thursday 3rd April 2025, meeting at 10 am at Elliott House, Albion Street.
We will be walking around the area Hope Street to Pasture Street/Albion Street to Victor Street.
We will be looking at how the area can be improved, so if you have any ideas please pop along.
We’re excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with NELC and partners to host a Family Fun Day on the East Marsh! Join us for a fun-filled and educational day all about helping customers recycle their waste and make the most out of their new bins.
We’ve got plenty of exciting activities lined up, including:
- Recycling games to make learning fun!
- Tips on how to improve energy efficiency in your home
- Fun family games for everyone to enjoy
- A surprise visit from the Mayor of Grimsby!
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn something new, have fun, and connect with the community.
We can’t wait to see you there!
