Your Neighbourhood is located within South Lincolnshire, towards the west of Boston, which is known for its import and export industries (the Port of Boston handles more than one million tons of cargo per year).

Staniland is part of the Boston and Skegness constituency, represented by Reform UKMP, Richard Tice. The estate falls under the Fenside Ward with two councillors representing the local area.

The Staniland Neighbourhood is a 10-minute walk from the town centre, 5 minutes from the nearest supermarket, and has Staniland Primary School at its heart. The neighbourhood contains a mix of bungalows, houses, flats and is the home of LHPs Extra Care Scheme, Mayfields.

There are 2 Council managed Parks on the Estate with playing fields. Within the neighbourhood there is a local Co-Op, Doctors Surgery, Pharmacy and Fish & Chip shop. There is a strong family community feel within the Staniland neighbourhood, with many of its residents having called it home for many generations.

    We’ve been proudly partnering with Sound Lincs since September 2024, providing free music sessions for our Memory Lane clients and Mayfields residents. We’re thrilled to share that they’ve agreed to use some of their funding to continue this amazing collaboration for another 12 months!

    A huge thank you to Sound Lincs for their continued support — we can’t wait to keep making music and memories together!

    Boston Brilliance is a two-day architectural projection festival taking place across

    Friday 14th and Saturday 15th February 2025. This festival will celebrate Boston’s history and heritage by transforming the town into a vibrant canvas, with its iconic landmarks lit up in spectacular projections.

    The festival will begin with performing arts students from Boston College opening the show with spectacular choreography, set to celebrate visual themes for Brilliance, Boston Life, and By Sea By Land.

    The grand switch-on of the illumination projections will then be at 5.30pm.
