We're pleased to announce that Emily McKenna, our Corporate Head of Risk and Assurance, has been appointed to the newly established Immingham and Habrough Neighbourhood Board!
The Board has been formed as part of the Government’s Pride in Place Programme and brings together 18 local representatives to help shape the long-term future of both communities. Its work will focus on identifying priorities and driving improvements that will benefit local people over the coming decade.
Over the next ten years, £20 million will be invested across Immingham and Habrough. This funding will support a range of initiatives aimed at transforming the areas, enhancing local environments, and creating new opportunities for our customers and other local residents.
Emily is also the Corporate Sponsor for our Immingham Neighbourhood Action Plan, where she has played an active role in supporting community focused initiatives and will bring valuable insight and leadership to the Board.
Having already made significant investment in our homes in Immingham, we remain committed to building on this progress by working with partners to enhance public spaces and the wider environment, to create a lasting, positive change.
Emily’s energy and dedication will help ensure we continue to deliver on our commitment to making Immingham a place to be proud of!
