The purpose of National Inclusion Week 2026 is to strengthen trust, belonging and inclusive practice across LHP, while giving customers clearer evidence that their voice, needs and experiences influence how we deliver services. The national theme is Build Trust. Navigate Change, and it fits us well: LHP is changing, and trust is what keeps customers and colleagues with us while we change.
By the end of the week we will have:
■ Increased customer understanding of why we collect equality, diversity and accessibility information.
■ Shown how customer and colleague feedback leads to real service improvement.
■ Built confidence that LHP responds to individual needs and is committed to fair and accessible services.
■ Strengthened colleague understanding of their own role in creating an inclusive culture.
■ Created opportunities to learn from colleague and customer lived experience.
■ Generated practical commitments and improvement actions that are followed through after the week.
Every event is about the same 2 things: listening properly, and doing something with what we hear.

Spalding Railway Lino Printing Workshop – 24th August
In celebration of the National Lottery Heritage Fund Project at Spalding Train Station, they are hosting a free train station themed lino printmaking workshop!
Join Hannah and Laura from the Heritage Team and learn about the history and heritage of Spalding Railway Station through the craft of lino printing.

Rosegarth Square – Opening Event – 19th September – 11 am – 7 pm
The transformation of a key gateway to Boston town centre will be marked at a special opening event to be hosted by Boston Borough Council next month. Residents are invited to celebrate a new chapter for the town as work is completed on Rosegarth Square, designed to breathe new life into the area with an event on September 19 welcoming a new, modern and accessible area, designed to enhance Boston Town Centre by creating a new gateway for visitors and residents.
The regeneration of the area has seen Boston Borough Council acquiring and then demolishing the former B&M and the Crown House buildings to make way for redevelopment. The new Square will officially open to the public after major investment from UK Government. This area has been designed to help celebrate the town’s heritage and history while creating an improved space for residents and visitors to use and enjoy.
The official opening event will bring together local residents, businesses, project partners and community stakeholders to mark the completion of the redevelopment. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the new square, learn more about the project's impact and take part in the celebrations.
The regeneration of Rosegarth Square forms part of a wider commitment to creating attractive, sustainable and people-focused public spaces that support economic growth while improving quality of life for local communities.
