Your Neighbourhood is located within South Lincolnshire, towards the west of Boston, which is known for its import and export industries (the Port of Boston handles more than one million tons of cargo per year). The area has a mix of bungalows, houses, flats, and is the home of the Hinton Court sheltered housing scheme.
Fenside is part of the Boston and Skegness constituency, represented by Reform UKMP, Richard Tice. The estate falls under the Fenside Ward with two councillors representing the local area.
The population of Fenside is about 5,102 as recorded in the 2021 Census. Lincolnshire Housing Partnership manages 800 homes in the area.
Your local facilities include several schools and colleges, numerous shops and supermarkets, Pescod Squares shopping centre, and Fenside Community Centre. The Fenside Neighbourhood is just a ten-minute walk from the town centre, and five minutes from the nearest supermarket.
There are plenty of green spaces in the surrounding area such as Fenside CountryPark, including close proximity to the River Witham so locals can enjoy a stroll or peaceful days out.
Residents of Fenside Estate will benefit from the close-knit community, with various community groups, sports clubs, and youth activities available for residents of all ages.
The area has great transport links, with frequent bus and rail services that connect throughout the town and to wider nationwide routes from Boston train station. There is also easy access to major roads like the A52.

LHP is proud to support a meaningful Mental Health Awareness Event on 12 May 2025 at Hinton Court, starting at 10:00 AM. This event has been organized in honour of one of our customers, whose personal journey has inspired us to raise awareness, start important conversations, and remind everyone that it's okay to talk and ask for help.
We are honoured to welcome guest speakers from local mental health organizations who will lead the event and share valuable insights. Most importantly, our courageous customer will be sharing her own story in the hope of helping others feel less alone.
This event is about more than just awareness—it’s about fostering community, connection, and compassion.
A special thank you to the Neighbourhood Officer Chloe Gilbert, for her passion and dedication in bringing this event to life. Your support, whether by attending or helping us spread the word, would mean the world to us.
Together, we can help break the stigma and make a real difference.

Boston Brilliance is a two-day architectural projection festival taking place across
Friday 14th and Saturday 15th February 2025. This festival will celebrate Boston’s history and heritage by transforming the town into a vibrant canvas, with its iconic landmarks lit up in spectacular projections.
The festival will begin with performing arts students from Boston College opening the show with spectacular choreography, set to celebrate visual themes for Brilliance, Boston Life, and By Sea By Land.
The grand switch-on of the illumination projections will then be at 5.30pm.
Today we have met at Richmond House with our local partners who contributed during session, helping us to take the first step towards a more collaborative approach to our neighbourhoods.
For those of you that couldn't attend, we will be holding more sessions in the near future to gather your insights. Please check key dates section, which will be regularly updated.
