We are looking for your feedback on our revised Relocation, Resettlement and Home Loss Policy.
We're reviewing this policy because the new regulations around Home Loss Payments came into force on 1 October 2023. The new legislation increases the minimum home loss payment amount a person can receive for losing their home from £7,800, to £8,100.
This policy sets out the terms and conditions for relocating customers where we have served notice of our intention to demolish, dispose of their homes, or to complete major repairs that require customers to temporarily move out of their homes. It sets out how we will support and assist throughout the relocation period including assisting with finding suitable alternative accommodation, the rules within the Local Authorities allocation policies concerning allocating move-on accommodation, and the payment of home loss and disturbance expenses.

Lincolnshire Housing Partnership is seeking views on revised Relocation, Resettlement and Home Loss Policy
This consultation provides an important opportunity to revise how LHP will support and assist customers throughout the whole period of seeking suitable alternative accommodation, moving and settling into their new homes.
