Staniland & Boston town
Your Neighbourhood is located within South Lincolnshire, towards the west of Boston, which is known for its import and export industries (the Port of Boston handles more than one million tons of cargo per year).
Staniland is part of the Boston and Skegness constituency, represented by Reform UKMP, Richard Tice. The estate falls under the Fenside Ward with two councillors representing the local area.
The Staniland Neighbourhood is a 10-minute walk from the town centre, 5 minutes from the nearest supermarket, and has Staniland Primary School at its heart. The neighbourhood contains a mix of bungalows, houses, flats and is the home of LHPs Extra Care Scheme, Mayfields.
There are 2 Council managed Parks on the Estate with playing fields. Within the neighbourhood there is a local Co-Op, Doctors Surgery, Pharmacy and Fish & Chip shop. There is a strong family community feel within the Staniland neighbourhood, with many of its residents having called it home for many generations.

Waste Not, Want Not: Working Together in Boston
Neighbourhood Officer Jason Cuthbert and Neighbourhood Team Leader Hayley Perry recently joined Boston Borough Council for a busy waste education day at Pulvertoft Lane, Boston—and there was plenty to talk about!
The event was led by George Crisp, Environmental Crime Officer at Boston Borough Council, alongside his fantastic team. Lots of residents attended, receiving practical waste advice, raising local issues and chatting directly with the people working to keep their communities clean.
It was brilliant to hear so many LHP customers complimenting the improvements in the area. Thanks to the hard work of George and his team, fly-tipping has reduced significantly—and residents have certainly noticed the difference.
The day was a great example of partnership working at its best: sharing advice, listening to residents and tackling problems together.
A huge thank you to George and everyone at Boston Borough Council for inviting us along. We look forward to continuing this fantastic partnership and working together to make Boston’s communities cleaner, safer and even better places to live.

What should LHP focus on in the future?
We're exploring what success could look and feel like by 2030, and we'd like to hear what you think. By 2030, what would you like it to be like to live in an LHP home and be an LHP customer?
We're developing LHP's new Corporate Strategy for 2027–2030, our plan for what we want to achieve over the next three years and we want our customers to help shape it.
We've put together a short survey to find out what matters most to you, what you think LHP should focus on and whether there is anything important we've missed.

When answering, we'd like you to look ahead to 2030. This isn't about rating LHP today, it's about what you think we should aim to achieve in the future.
We want to hear what matters to you, including anything you think we have missed. We'll look at what you tell us alongside what we hear from other customers and colleagues to help shape our priorities for 2027–2030.

What happens next?
This survey is just the start. In the autumn, we'll share what customers and colleagues have told us and there will be more opportunities for customers to help develop the strategy.
