Communal Areas

Customers at Matthew Quinn House are benefiting from improvements to their communal outdoor space thanks to a proactive social value initiative delivered by our contractor, Build Dec.

Having recently completed works to seven void properties at the scheme, Build Dec identified a large section of communal fencing in the car park that required replacement due to being damaged.

Recognising an opportunity to make a positive impact for our customers, Build Dec approached us with a proposal to replace the missing fencing under their social value commitment.

Following approval, the new fencing was installed in just over two weeks at no cost to LHP!

The improvements have significantly enhanced the appearance of the area as well as improving the security around the communal gardens, creating a more welcoming and secure environment.

This is a great example of effective partnership working, with Build Dec proactively identifying an opportunity to deliver added value and improve the scheme beyond the original scope of works.
