My name is Andrew and have been a tenant of LHP for just over 2 years although I was previously a tenant of Boston Mayflower up to 2016. On my return to this area I decided to get involved with the tenant panels, I started to get more involved as time went on and then I was invited to join the scrutiny panel.
I wanted to get involved as I think that being on the tenant panels are the best way to have my say in how the company deal with our properties My real interest is in how they deal with disability, being a permanent wheelchair user myself I am keen to try and improve lives for those of us who are disabled.

I find it interesting and although I’m new to the Scrutiny Panel, I am keen to get more involved and am always taking part in every panel that I can.

I feel that if you want change you have to get involved and put your point of view across to those who make the decisions.

    Hi I am Denise.

After attending a big day out event in 2010 I joined the Scrutiny Panel. After lots of interesting training, as a group we have submitted lots of recommendations. I like to see our recommendations being put into practice and i've been on lots of panels over the years.

We're a friendly group coming up with good ideas. If you want to make a difference to where you live, come and join us!

I have always lived in Boston. I am retired with a daughter, two grandsons and a great granddaughter. I was on another Mayflower panel and have been asked to join Scrutiny when it was first set up. I enjoy being on the panel, it is very interesting. Panel members are all friendly and helpful people and I have made some good friends over the years. You get a chance to see things from both the customer point and L H P; and its a chance to help customers as well.

    Hi I am Mary Veasey.

Now retired. I have been involved in volunteering for the last 19 years, starting with Boston Mayflower, Citizens Advice and now LHP. Now housebound; I can still do research and the make the voice of my fellow tenants be heard.

I enjoy the challenge and the camaraderie (even over Teams) with my colleagues on the panel and within LHP.
