Animal Friends Across the Grange
As a Neighbourhood Officer on the Grange, one of my favourite parts of the job is getting to meet the wonderful pets that share our community.
Pets have a special way of bringing warmth, companionship, and character to the neighbourhood. They’re often the first to say hello during visits, and they never fail to brighten even the busiest day. Here are just a few of the friendly faces I’ve had the pleasure of meeting recently:Thank you for your contribution!

Poppy Appeal
Thank you to everyone who supported the event, we’ve made a truly memorable day for the Grange neighbourhood!
Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day, is observed on 11 November each year to mark the end of the First World War in 1918. It’s a time for reflection, when we remember and honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served in conflicts past and present.
As we approach this important day, we take time to reflect and honour all those who have served and continue to serve in our Armed Forces, past and present.
This year, we’re proud to recognise the incredible contribution of our colleagues who have shared their connection to the military. Together, they represent over 70 years of combined service across the Army and Royal Air Force.
Their dedication, discipline and sense of duty reflect values that truly resonate with who we are at LHP: commitment, teamwork and community.
Throughout this week, colleagues across LHP have paused to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. Whether you’ve joined a local parade, wore a poppy with pride, or taken a quiet moment of reflection at 11am on the 11th, we stand together in gratitude.
Thank you to all our veterans, reservists and families within the LHP community. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
“At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.”

We would also like to thank one of our residents - Mrs Jones who has been doing the poppy appeal for over 20 years!
Royal British Legion has recognised her as Poppy Appeal Organiser raising a whooping over £294 thousand over the last 13 years.
They said that the money raised has helped them to provide vital, life-long help and assistance to the Armed Forces community, including crisis grants in times of need, specialist dementia care and sport-based recovery programs for wounded, injured and sick Service and ex-Service personnel.
